Most, if not all, TV shows have the good guys and the not so good guys. We are here to talk about that second option. Bad guys can be so irritating and awful that make you want to jump into the screen and get them out of there. While others are so lovable that you already caught yourself wanting them to win over the good guys. Here are the 5 most hated and the 5 most loved villains in TV shows.
5th Most Hated: Zoom - "The Flash"
Zoom was the villain through the whole 2nd season of "The Flash" and his identity was a mystery during most of it (which we can classify at least as a 'not expected' revelation). He killed a lot of people and even people really important to Barry. To hate him was extremely easy since his first appearance, and even easier after his identity was revealed.
5th Most Loved: Void Stiles - "Teen Wolf"
I believe that it's fair to say that if not the most, Stiles is one of the most loved characters in "Teen Wolf." Being good... or even evil. Yes, that's right. On season 3 Stiles got "possessed" by a bad fox spirit, or Nogitsune, and turned to the dark side. However, that was not a reason for watchers to stop loving him. The fox even became one of the character's symbols.
4th Most Hated: Benjamin Linus - "Lost"
Benjamin Linus, just like the TV Show that he was part of, was a mysterious man and each question that he answered led to another. The guy who seemed like a small defenseless nerd, showed himself as evil and meticulous, with uncountable scenes that made us hate him a lot (i.e.: Alex's death).
4th Most Loved: Evil Queen - "Once Upon a Time"
She sure started off as a villain when she had her first appearances in "Once Upon a Time" and everyone who watched it could very easily hate, however, throughout the seasons we were able to get to know her history and her lovable side. Before we all could even notice we were all hoping that she'd get her so wished happy ending.
3rd Most Hated: T-Bag - "Prison Break"
Racist, Rapist, Pedophile. Who wouldn't hate a human being like that? T-bag was an awful person and a great villain to hate. Though some characters were deceived by his charm and intellect, T-bag was a bastard and it was very good to hate him.
3rd Most Loved: Crowley - "Supernatural"
Crowley, demon, king of hell, all of the above. Even with all of these, Crowley could still win some of the fans hearts. With his accent and nice nicknames - moose & squirrel - he was able to turn a classic super villain in a loved one. King of hell or crossroad demon, I guess we just stay secretly hoping that the Winchesters never get to kill this guy.
2nd Most Hated: Governor - "The Walking Dead"
How can only one person carry this much hate? The Governor tried to or killed some of our most beloved characters in "The Walking Dead". Not satisfied yet, this extremely awful person, did not rest until he had Rick's prison destroyed. Poor Rick, it's almost like zombies aren't enough.
2nd Most Loved: Klaus Mikaelson - "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries"
We first saw him in "The Vampire Diaries" and he already showed up killing so many beloved characters but it's not like that stopped most fans to fall in love with him. He's often selfish, putting a dagger through his family members' hearts any time they didn't follow his plans. However, who can resist him every time he says 'Caroline' with his cute accent or when he gives up his revenge plans just to please her, making us feel almost bad for wanting him to get what he wants.
1st Most Hated: Joffrey Baratheon - Game of Thrones
Extreme annoyance, awfulness, and a very spoiled kid these were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect horrible villain but George R. R. Martin accidentally (or not) added an extra ingredient: incest. And, then, was born Joffrey Baratheon the most hated villain ever. He was awful with everyone but he did have some personal targets, not only with our poor Sansa but also with our beloved Tyrion. Let's be honest, we are not even sure how his mom could stand him. I think everyone who watches "Game of Thrones" felt an enormous relief after his death.
1st Most Loved: Tate Langdon - American Horror Story
Tate did some really (really) bad stuff throughout season one of "American Horror Story" - "Murder House." From shooting down a school, setting his mom's lover on fire, raping his girlfriend's mom and killing a bunch of old owners of the house, it seemed like most of it didn't even matter to a good part of the show's watchers. A big number of the fans still wanted Violet to be with him. I guess Evan Peter's smile can turn even the really bad guy into a wonderful one.
